Description
Many years ago while visiting the Art Institute of Chicago I discovered two paintings by Robert Henri that I've never seen before. They were portraits of a fisherman and his wife and the artist named these paintings " Himself" and "Herself ." I loved the whimsy of these names (and, of course, the paintings themselves) and decided to paint my own couple of cats wearing jewelry and a fancy collar. So I decided to honor this painting and named my own in homage.
